Liberty Water and Sanitary Sewer Feature Location: GIS Survey

In order to keep its GIS current with accurate information the Town of Liberty entrusted AWCK with the task of mapping all of its water system and sanitary sewer system features. Using Survey grade and Mapping Grade GPS (Global Positioning System) technology as well as conventional surveying, AWCK located every hydrant, water valve and manhole in Liberty’s systems and mapped them in Arcview software for direct integration into the town’s GIS.
