City of Graham—AICDZ Phase 1: Water and S.S. Improvements
AWCK provided construction drawings, specifications and bid documents, and construction related services for the City of Graham’s Phase 1 Water and Sanitary Sewer Improvements associated with the Alamance Interstate Corridor Development Zone. The AICDZ is a 1,000 acre economic development zone in the Hawfield’s area of Alamance County and the Phase 1 project extended 5,600’ of 12” waterline and 9,000’ of 18” sanitary sewer to the AICDZ from Graham’s jurisdiction along Cherry Lane. The surveying, design, and permitting were accomplished in an expedited manner to comply with economic deadlines and AWCK worked with multiple jurisdictions to complete the project. The Alamance County Chamber of Commerce recognized AWCK’s work on the project with an Economic Development Impact Award in early 2014. The project included extensive permitting and is expected to be completed in early 2015.
