Village Park – Tobaccoville

Tobaccoville, North Carolina

This project was the Village of Tobaccoville’s first major capital project following their incorporation in 1991.  AWCK assisted the village in development of a master plan, application for LWCF funding, and implementation of the first three phases of the project.  The master plan includes two multi-purpose athletic fields, tennis courts, a walking trail, picnic shelters, toilets and other site improvements.  The plan also identified sites for a future town hall and rec center.

Started in 1994 and completed in 1997, the development costs for the first three phases total approximately $500,000.
